Don't buy  "BAD GAS"

All new cars being built today have fuel injection. These fuel injectors need a constant cleaning process or the nozzle of the injector will get dirty and cause your engine to run bad. Everyone knows about octane in fuels (Octane is the amount of anti-knock substances in fuel) but what about detergent? It is imperative that the fuels you buy have detergent in them, here's why...

Look at these  pictures of injector spray patterns.

The spray pattern on the left is dirty. When an injector is dirty, it does not atomize the fuel into a mist and this causes your engine to run rough. Cleaning this problem up can cost you hundreds of dollars. Dollars that won't need to be spent if you'll make sure you buy fuels that contain a good detergent in them. ALL name brand gases such as Conoco and Texaco have detergents in them. Probably the only place you will get into trouble is with cut rate fuels. Be smart here or you'll pay for it!
